Council 2524 Knights of Columbus in Presque Isle held their 11th annual Senior Citizens Banquet at their hall in Presque Isle on Feb. 16. More than 210 guests enjoyed the turkey dinner by chef Louis Saucier and his crew. Members of the Knights of Columbus set up the hall and waited on the guests. Roland and Louella Cyr provided music while guests enjoyed their dinner. Door prizes were given out after dinner and games were played. Prizes for the games and door prizes were donated by several area merchants. Bob Cormier, master of ceremonies for the banquet, presented awards to the following, pictured from left: Longest Married Couples — first couple, George and Marjorie Leach; and second couple, Alban and Carmen Thibodeau; Eldest Veteran, Stephen Naas; Eldest Lady, Violet Frazier; and Eldest Gentleman, Robert McHatten.
