Rec to offer classes
The Presque Isle Recreation and Parks Department will offer an eight-week Zumba program starting Feb. 23.
Classes will meet each Tuesday and Thursday from Feb. 23 through April 15 from 5:45-6:45 p.m. The cost to attend all 16 classes is $65 while an eight-class card is $40. There will be a free demonstration on Tuesday, Feb. 16, from 5:45-6:45 p.m.
The Presque Isle Recreation and Parks Department has begun registration for its after school art program, which begins in March. Grades 1-3 will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays, while grades 4-6 will meet on Wednesdays and Fridays, with all sessions running from 3-5:30 p.m. There will also be a Mini Monets program for children ages 2-5 and their parents held Friday mornings from 10-11 a.m.
