A children’s Christmas party by the VFW Auxiliary 2599 was held on Dec. 19th and featured a craft table, coloring table, cake walk, Santa Claus and gifts. All families got to go home with a cake or two. Lunch was served and there were about 40 children in attendance.
The Auxiliary would like to thank all who participated to make it a good time for all, whether you made something, brought something or helped the children on the craft or coloring tables.
All children enjoyed visiting with Santa and receiving their gift and candy bag. A special thanks to Santa Claus for taking a couple of hours from his busy schedule to visit with children and grownups.
SANTA visited VFW Post 2599 in Presque Isle just before Christmas, bringing gifts and goodies to boys and girls who attended a party at the Presque Isle facility. Pictured is a little boy named Kalek (no last name available) who joined Santa for a ‘baby’s first Christmas’ photo.
