City Hall is no place for guns

To the editor:
    I was reading an article in the Dec. 30, 2009 Bangor Daily News issue where Presque Isle’s city manager tells about one of our City Council members — Ron McPherson — wearing a concealed gun to meetings. 

    Public or private meetings, this is just not acceptable!  Imagine you going to work and finding out one of the personnel packing a gun. This should be illegal.
    Presque Isle citizens should band together to remove this person or make it illegal for anyone!
