ASHLAND – Wayne P. Burby, 63, died unexpectedly December 23, 2009 at a Presque Isle hospital. He was born at Eagle Lake, April 22, 1946, the son of Fred and Cecilia (Lajoie) Burby.
He had been employed as a heavy equipment operator for Kelley Lumber Mill until his retirement.
Wayne is survived by his wife Tammy (Cassimore) Burby of Ashland; two sons, Marshall and Jamie Burby, both of Caribou; two sisters, Bertha Archer of Chapman and Sarah Hunt of Ashland; three brothers, Richard Burby of Tennessee, Johnny Burby of Illinois and Gary Burby of Sheridan; six grandchildren, Cortney, Braden, Christopher, Jacob, Brianna, and Brittney.
