BREWER – CES, Inc., a Brewer-based professional engineering consulting firm, has announced the promotion of four employees.
“Our company is preparing for the future and the challenging opportunities ahead,” said James Parker, founding partner of the company. “We want to ensure we have the best team possible in place to lead us through ongoing growth and change.”
Denis St. Peter, PE, has been promoted to president of the firm. Originally from Caribou, St. Peter has over 19 years of civil and environmental engineering experience. After spending 10 years working as an environmental engineer at Loring Air Force Base, he joined CES in 2000 as a senior project engineer and project manager. In 2006, he became a shareholder of the company and managed the environmental engineering department. St. Peter is a graduate of the University of Maine and holds a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering.
Jeff Teunisen, PLS, has been promoted to executive vice president. Teunisen joined CES in 1997 as a land surveyor. In 2002, he was promoted to the position of survey department manager and, in 2006, became a shareholder of the firm. In his new position, Teunisen will continue to serve as survey manager and will also assist with the oversight of operations and staff development. He is a graduate of the University of Maine and holds a bachelor of arts degree in journalism/news and an associate degree in civil engineering technology.
Pete Tuell, PE, has been promoted to director of structural engineering. Tuell has been with CES for over 21 years where he specializes in structural engineering. He will provide oversight for structural projects and will be responsible for staff development. Tuell is a graduate of the University of Maine and holds a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering.
Travis Noyes, PE, has been promoted to director of civil engineering. Noyes has over 13 years of civil engineering experience and specializes in water/wastewater system design and analysis. In his new role, he will provide oversight of civil engineering projects and will be responsible for staff development. Noyes is a graduate of the University of Maine and holds a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering.
