UMPI to host 3-day kids’ baseball clinic

    The University of Maine at Presque Isle baseball team will host its popular baseball clinic for boys and girls ages 7 to 14 from Dec. 29-31 at Wieden Hall.     The clinic, which runs from 1-4 p.m. all three days, will feature instruction in basic skills including form throwing, hitting, base running and fielding of both ground ball and fly balls. The day’s events will conclude with an actual indoor modified baseball game. The cost for the entire clinic is $75 per participant, with proceeds used to support travel expenses for the UMPI baseball team.
