HUMBLE, TEXAS and WESTFIELD, MAINE – Alicia Anne (Weeks) Ochoa passed away in Humble, Texas on September 29, 2009, after a short illness with unknown cancer. She was born in Caribou, on April 25, 1961, to Eugene and Alta Fulton Weeks.
She attended schools in Westfield and was a graduate of Presque Isle High School. In 2005, she received an Associate of Arts Degree from Kingwood Community College in Texas. She was an Activities Director for over 25 years and worked in nursing homes in Maine and Texas. Alicia was very caring of the residents and provided many unique and fun programs. From 2006 to 2008, she was property manager at McCulley Commons in Presque Isle, Maple-Tree Estates in Mapleton, and Story Hill Estates in Washburn. Alicia attended Calvary Baptist Church in Westfield and The Fellowships of the Woodlands Church in Texas.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Raoul Ochoa; daughter, Courtney Lynn Humphress all of Humble, TX; great-aunt Vera Shaw of Mars Hill and a number of cousins, in-laws and special friends.
A memorial service will be held 6:30 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2009, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home for her relatives and friends with the Rev. Larry Palmer officiating.
