Car strikes flagger in Castle Hill

    CASTLE HILL — A flagger working a construction site along Rt. 163 was injured Monday when he was struck by a vehicle entering the work zone.
    The accident was reported around 1 p.m. Mapleton first responders and Crown Ambulance were dispatched to the scene.     The unidentified flagger, whose age was given as 25, was transported to The Aroostook Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
    The driver of the vehicle, identified as an 80-year-old male, was  not injured.
    Reports indicate the driver was slow at braking when approaching the work site.
    No additional information was available at presstime.
