Wednesday-Friday
High pressure will remain over the Valley through Friday with mostly clear skies and gradually warming conditions.
Mostly sunny skies continue across the St. John Valley Wednesday with highs in the middle 70s with some fair-weather cumulus possible and light northeast winds. For Wednesday night, mostly clear skies, calm winds, and lows in the upper 40s with some patchy fog possible after midnight.
Thursday remains mostly sunny with calm winds and highs in the lower 80s. Thursday night looks mostly clear with temperatures in the lower 50s and a light south wind. Some patchy fog is possible overnight. Friday looks sunny with temperatures in the lower 80s with partly cloudy skies Friday night and lows in the upper 50s.
Saturday-Tuesday
High pressure drifts southeast of the region over the weekend with a warm front crossing the Valley Saturday. Skies remain mostly sunny with highs in the lower 80s and overnight temperatures in the lower 60s. The warm front allows for some scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms Saturday afternoon with some lingering shower/thunderstorm activity possible overnight.
The area will be in the warm sector of an approaching cold front with muggier conditions developing as highs climb into the middle to upper 80s Sunday with southwest flow across the region. Sunday night will be partly cloudy to mostly clear with temperatures in the mid-60s.
Monday will be hot and muggy with temperatures in the lower 90s and dew points in the mid-60s. Monday night will be partly cloudy to mostly clear with lows in the mid-60s. Tuesday features mostly sunny skies, hot, and muggy conditions with temperatures in the mid- to upper 80s. A slight chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms is expected as the cold front remains stalled west of the region. Hot and humid weather may persist into midweek before a cold front moves through bringing showers/thunderstorms, lower temperatures, and dew points at more comfortable levels.
