CARIBOU, Maine — All community members are invited to attend Aroostook Mental Health Services, Inc. Community Appreciation Day on Friday, Aug. 8 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Caribou Wellness & Recreation Center, 55 Bennett Drive.
“A strong community is built on compassion, connection and care,” shared Christine Lapointe, AMHC therapist and event organizer. “This day is about celebrating the power of coming together to uplift, to heal, and to give back.”
This free event includes food, a bouncy house, dunking booth, family activities and prizes throughout the day. A resource booth will be available for anyone interested in learning about all the programs and services that AMHC offers for adults, children and families.
