AMHC welcomes St. Pierre as therapist in Madawaska

MADAWASKA, Maine — Aroostook Mental Health Services, Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Sarah St. Pierre, LMSW-CC to therapist/consultant at its Madawaska outpatient office. She will offer local in-person appointments, as well as telehealth across Aroostook County, providing co-occurring mental health and substance use services and couples and family therapy.

“Sarah has been an integral part of our team in her previous roles as a psychometrician and family visitation specialist,” said Christy Daggett, AMHC CEO. “She consistently demonstrates dedication, compassion and professionalism. We are proud to see her step into this new role where her experience and skills will continue to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve.”

St. Pierre joins a seasoned staff of clinicians who offer in-person and telehealth visits in a variety of adult and children’s outpatient services. Therapists work very closely with other AMHC and community services to provide holistic care, person-centered care.

St. Pierre joined AMHC in 2020 as a behavioral health home coordinator. Since that time, she has held several positions with increasing levels of responsibility while taking advantage of AMHC’s Career Development and Tuition Reimbursement Program as well as the Vickers Education Fund Scholarship. 

“I’m incredibly grateful for the support AMHC has given me to grow professionally,” shared St. Pierre. “Being part of a dedicated team that is committed to enhancing the behavioral health of our community is truly rewarding, and I look forward to continuing our important work together.”

St. Pierre obtained her master of social work from the University of Maine and bachelor of arts in psychology from Mount Allison University. She resides with her family in Fort Kent.
