HOULTON, Maine — All are welcome to attend Aroostook Recovery Center of Hope’s open house on Saturday, July 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 106 Main St. A barbecue, refreshments and fun and games will be available for everyone to enjoy!
ARCH serves people in recovery, people struggling with substance/alcohol/opioid use disorder(s), affected others, allies and community members. “We encourage everyone to stop by,” says Amanda Keegan, center manager. “We will be offering tours, Narcan trainings, coloring and crafts for kids and corn hole for adults. It’s going to be a great time to learn how much the center offers and the wonderful supportive staff and volunteers who make it possible.”
Located across the street from the Greater Houlton Chamber of Commerce/The Aroostook County Historical and Art Museum, ARCH is a place where individuals can come and receive support for their recovery journey, connecting people to resources and also serve as a venue for various recovery meetings.
ARCH is a service of Aroostook Mental Health Services, Inc. in partnership with Link for Hope. The center is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. to noon.
