I would like to extend appreciation and gratitude to the dedicated employees of Caribou Utilities District and the water and wastewater professionals serving communities throughout Aroostook County.
These individuals are the backbone of our public health and environmental safety, working diligently, often behind the scenes, to ensure that clean water flows to our homes and that wastewater is responsibly managed.
Their work is vital, yet too often overlooked. Whether it’s maintaining aging infrastructure, responding to emergencies in harsh weather, or ensuring compliance with strict health and safety standards, these professionals show unwavering commitment and skill. Their efforts protect not only our health but also the environment that we all cherish.
Especially in rural areas like ours, where resources can be stretched thin, the dedication of these workers is truly commendable. They deserve our recognition, our gratitude, and our continued support.
Let’s take a moment to thank them for the essential services they provide every day, quietly, reliably, and with great care.
