Presque Isle High School conferred 107 diplomas to the members of the Class of 2025 on June 6.
Class President Fiona Wu gave the welcoming address.
“It’s an honor to be part of this class and to forever be a Wildcat,” she said.
Seniors Kathryn Murchison and Demetrius Ortiz performed the musical selection, followed by class speaker Kacie Marston, who shared a journal entry she’d written one year prior, reflecting on their journey through school years.
Marston ended with a message for their future selves.

“Growing up doesn’t have to mean leaving our younger selves behind. It means carrying them with us,” she said. “Take care of that inner child. Take care of each other. And keep writing your story — even if it gets messy. That’s how the best ones go.”
The keynote address was given by Todd Saucier, vice president and agency manager at United Insurance.
The school traditionally celebrates its top five students, according to their grade point averages over their four years of high school.
This year’s group was remarkably close. In order from the highest are: Lauren Dugal, with an average of 96.98; Cathleen Chen, 96.90; Brooklyn McIntyre, 96.73, Fiona Wu, 96.63; and Alexander LeClair, 96.44.
