Aroostook Friends for Scouts is creating an outdoor learning center at the Caribou scout hall. Curt Patterson, president of Aroostook Savings and Loan and Aroostook Payroll, recently presented a $5,000 donation from each company. Cash and in-kind donations for the project have reached more than $23,000 so far, Powers said.
