3-Day Outlook: Wednesday, Feb. 19 – Friday, Feb. 21

For Wednesday, high pressure continues to spread east from the Great Plains while a couple of weak upper-level troughs near the region introduce some moisture/instability aloft. The result will be mostly cloudy to partly sunny skies with a chance of some light snow showers this morning than taper off as the morning progresses. Mostly cloudy skies are expected tonight with a slight chance of snow showers overnight.

Thursday, mostly cloudy skies are expected as low pressure tracks into the North Atlantic south of the Gulf of Maine. A stray snow shower is possible; however, nothing significant is anticipated from this system. Thursday night, mostly cloudy skies remain across the Valley with increasing winds after midnight as the low intensifies tracking east into the Atlantic.

Friday will feature decreasing cloudiness with brisk northwest winds gusting into the 25-30 mph range. Mostly sunny skies Friday give way to partly cloudy skies Friday night with continued gusty northwest winds across the St. John Valley.

Daily Summary
