Members of the Central Aroostook Historical Society and generous community members funded a donation of 12 copies of the Historical Society’ newest book, “More Stories from the Heart of the County,” to the Central Aroostook High School History Department for use in classes. Students receiving the copies are, from left, Hannah Shaw, Ava Whited, Millie Couture and Madeline Shaw. As it turns out, there are family connections to each of these students in the featured stories of the book.
