The Mapleton Daze Committee has plans underway for multiple events this fall and holiday season.

The next event is the annual Fall Craft Fair & Vendor Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12, just in time for Halloween, Thanksgiving and upcoming holiday shopping.

The fair will be held at Mapleton Elementary School. Guests should go through the main entrance doors. Crafters and vendors will be set up throughout the school in the gym, hallways and the cafeteria.

The Mapleton Daze Committee is pleased that all available crafter and vendor spaces have been filled.

Readers are invited to come and support the tri-community area and its local crafters.  There will be many handcrafted items for purchase and the committee will have lots of goodies for sale with proceeds going towards Mapleton Daze in June 2025. They are looking forward to seeing friends and neighbors at the craft fair.

Additionally, the Mapleton Daze Committee is asking for donations of school supplies for the school. Donations can be dropped off in the box next to the committee table.

Stew night

Another popular event for the Mapleton Daze Committee is their drive-thru stew night, which will occur on Oct. 26.  Two kinds of stew (chicken and beef) with a roll and dessert will be served starting at 4:30 p.m. at the Mapleton Lions Hall.  Baked beans will also be available.

The cost for each meal will be $10. All funds raised be put forward to cover the cost of Mapleton Daze 2025.

Hunters breakfast

The second annual Mapleton Daze Hunters Breakfast will be held from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Lions Hall on Saturday, Nov. 9.

The menu will consist of a breakfast buffet filled with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, homemade baked beans, pancakes, toast, coffee, juice and water — enough to fill you up for the big hunt that day.

Silent auction

Later this fall, the Mapleton Daze Committee will conduct their sixth annual online silent auction.  This auction has been popular from its first year.

The event is slated Nov. 11-13. Bidding will start Monday, Nov. 11, at 8 a.m.  All bidding will be online and will close at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 13.  Bidders submitting the highest bids at the end of the Silent Auction win the items bid on.

All funds raised will go towards Mapleton Daze 2025.

The committee seeks items for the auction.  Donation may be made by contacting Lynnelle Foster or by sending a message using the Mapleton Daze Facebook page messenger.
