FORT FAIRFIELD, Maine — The Fort Fairfield High School Class of 1973 enjoyed a wonderful 50th class reunion at the VFW in July. As a special project and a way to honor their classmates who had passed away, the class raised a total donation of $7,535 to be given to the Basket of Blessing Food Bank in Fort Fairfield. There was an anonymous matching donation from a very generous classmate that brought the total so high.

The class has always been a very close and thoughtful group, past reunions have raised over $2,500 for local food pantries. The food bank was very appreciative, and these funds will go a long way in keeping their supplies stocked and food on the table for many folks in need.
