CARIBOU, Maine — Four members of the class of 1944 gathered on Friday, Aug. 30, at the Par & Grill Restaurant to celebrate their 75th Caribou High School class reunion.
Travis Barnes, principal at Caribou High School, praised the group on continuing to meet yearly and presented everyone with an engraved CHS pen. He stated, “Once a Viking, always a Viking.”
Everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch and good conversation. A cake with the class motto inscribed on it, “Success comes to those who earn it” was donated by Hannaford and enjoyed
by all.
“Amazing Grace” was sung in memory of Florence Gallagher, a classmate who passed away earlier this year.
Everyone had a great time and the group looks forward to meeting again in 2020.
