Sixth-year head coach Brian Hamel shouts instructions to his Snowdogs players during a game against the Caribou boys varsity basketball team Jan. 10 at UMPI’s Gentile Hall. The Snowdogs, a team made up of Special Olympians from the Caribou-Presque Isle area, will take on the Presque Isle Wildcat girls Jan. 24 and the PI boys Jan. 31 in preparation for their state tournament in March. Both games begin at 4 p.m. at Presque Isle High School and are open to the public.
