An RF Chamberland truck hit black ice north of New Sweden on Route 161 near Madawaska Lake on Friday morning at approximately 6:40. The driver lost control and the 18-wheeler slid on the ice, went off the road and jackknifed. There were no injuries. (Andrew Birden)
