Program registration begins tonight
Registration for summer and fall programs will be held tonight from 6-8 p.m. for residents only and on Thursday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. for both residents and non-residents. This takes place at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center.
The summer program booklet can be viewed online at caribourec.org and is also available on the department’s Facebook page.The paper booklets have also been dispersed to the Caribou elementary schools and the middle school.
CRX registration
Registrations are now being accepted for the summer CRX program, which is an outdoor recreation program for youth in grades 5-11. Kayaking, canoeing the Allagash, climbing Mt. Katahdin, backpacking in Baxter State Park and mountain biking are among the programs being offered. Recreation center hours
Hours at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center are Monday through Friday from 6 a.m.-6 p.m. The facility is closed Saturdays and Sundays.
