Kevin and Katie Mania of Houlton welcomed their second daughter, Evelyn Rose, at 1:40 p.m. Jan. 1 at Houlton Regional Hospital after a 12-hour labor. The baby weighed 9 pounds, 8 ounces and is 21.5 inches long. She joins her big sister, Enza. Evelyn is the first baby of the new year in Aroostook County.
