FORT KENT: UMFK will host its 6th annual Classic and Custom Car Show from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on the university campus, part of Homecoming and the Scarecrow Festival. Free; open to the public. On-site vendors, face painting, entertainment and family fun.

AROOSTOOK COUNTY: Aroostook Retired Educators Association will meet at the Caribou Inn & Convention Center for dinner at noon. Registration is at 11. Cost of the meal is $13. CARIBOU: The Caribou Choral Society will begin rehearsals at 7 p.m. in the recreation room of the Mormon Church, 67 Paris Snow Ave. All singers interested in advanced four-part singing welcome. Rehearsals held each Tuesday until December. FMI call conductor Dan Ladner at 764-1482.
