BANGOR and CARIBOU – Kyle R. Hewitt, 22, died unexpectedly, July 17, 2015 at Millinocket. He was born on March 6, 1993, in Presque Isle the son of Floyd and Shelly (Philbrick) Hewitt, Jr.

Kyle attended the Caribou schools and was a 2012 graduate of Katahdin High School. He was employed as a sales associate at Bangor Best Buy and was proud of his status as one of the top sales associates for Best Buy in the northeast.
Surviving in addition to his mother, Shelly of Caribou, and his father and step-mother, Floyd and Sandra Hewitt of Santa Fe, NM, are his two sons, Joshua Daniel Irish and Benjamin Xavier Hewitt; his sister, Katelyn Hewitt of Caribou; his grandparents, Robert and Patricia Philbrick of Washburn and Floyd Hewitt, Sr. of Caribou; aunts and uncles, Debra and Sando Ibrahim, Pam Dubay, Dean Philbrick and Sue and Stan Pettegrow; as well as several cousins. Kyle was pre-deceased by his grand- mother, Barbara Hewitt, in 2005.
