CARY – John P. Cleary, 58, died November 11, 2014, in Haynesville. He was born February 11, 1956, in Houlton, the son of Edwin and Helen (Fredericks) Cleary.
John enjoyed snowmobiling, four wheeling, hunting and going to camp. He was a friend to everyone.
Besides his mother of Cary, John is survived by his wife of 36 years, Peggy (Irish) Cleary of Cary; two children, Jamie of Cary and Ryan of Houlton; mother-in-law, Madeline Irish of Hodgdon; several sister-in-laws, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and his special “camp friends”. He was predeceased by his father, Edwin; and his father-in-law, Milo Irish.
Friends called 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, November 13 at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water Street, Houlton where funeral services were held 2 p.m. on Friday with the Rev. Wayne Robertson officiating.
