The Island Falls Senior Citizens met at the municipal building on Nov. 6 for a fundraiser for our 2016 scholarship fund.
A traditional Thanksgiving dinner was served to 18 members and three guests.
Members attending were Mary Lawler, Gloria Noyes, Donna Furrow, Mary Joy, Edith Dwyer, Dennis Boone, Verna Boone, Mary Pipes, Donna Baker, Ursula Levesque, Iona Nadeau, Terry Dwyer, Rich Camire, Jeanne Clements, Ellie Peck, Judy Botting and Helen Sherman. Guests were Mary Fowler, Jutta Beyer and Patti Hartin.
The next meeting will be Thursday, Nov. 20, and we will do the “bag game” out of turn for that meeting.
Meetings are held the first and third Thursdays of each month, and new members are always welcome. For more information, call any member.
