On Nov. 5 the Happy Losers held the weekly meeting at the Congregational Church vestry in Island Falls.
Loretta Bouchard, the co-leader, opened the meeting with the usual pledge and roll call. Eight members weighed in and five attended the meeting. Shirley Sides was the loser of the week and Riva Hawkes was runner-up. Great job ladies!
Reports for the week were given by the secretary and treasurer. No program was held for the week as some members couldn’t attend.
It was decided to have our Christmas Party on Wednesday, Dec. 10. Hope everyone will attend.
