CARIBOU — The following cases were heard at the District Court in Caribou during the month of July.
Sara Abellera, 21, Presque Isle: possession of marijuana, up to 1.25 oz., $350 fine.
Joshua H. Barnes, 25, Fort Fairfield: operating under the influence, $500 fine, 90 days in jail, all but 48 hours suspended, one-year administrative-release sentence and 150-day license suspension.
Dustin Hollis Bean, 25, Ashland: operating while license suspended or revoked, attempting while on an ATV to elude a law enforcement officer, and failure to stop an ATV, dismissed (each).
Chad Brescia, 38, Caribou: violating condition of release, $250 fine, seven days in jail.
Preston Brown, 50, Woodland: operating ATV on public way, $200 fine.
Matthew J. Cannon, 27, Woodland: littering, $100 fine.
Mary Treasa Chamberlain, 29, East Liverpool, Ohio: unlawful use of bait in artificial-lure-only water, $150 fine.
Robert E. Chamberlain, 42, Connor Township: failing to register vehicle and operating vehicle without license, $100 fine (each).
Arlene Lois Cholewa, 42, Presque Isle: operating while license suspended or revoked, $250 fine.
Steven C. Cray, 30, Connor Township: fishing in restricted area, $150 fine.
Bryant G. Damboise, 57, Grand Isle: use of drug paraphernalia, $300 fine.
Amy M. Dube, 44, Mapleton: negotiating a worthless instrument, $100 fine and $416.69 restitution.
Kim P. Eleiott, 41, Caribou: failing to display ATV registration numbers, $100 fine.
Michael Fisher, 32, Woodland: violating protective order, five days in jail; criminal mischief, 10 days in jail; and theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, two days in jail.
Sheila Foss, 48, Perham: violating condition of release, $200 fine and 48 hours in jail.

Kerowyn Guillotte, 42, New Sweden: dog chasing moose, deer or wild turkey, $100 fine.

Brandy Hersey, 38, Caribou: operating while license suspended or revoked, dismissed.

Stacie Lynn Holton, 37, Mapleton: unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $400 fine, $120 restitution; operating while license suspended or revoked, prior, dismissed; and use of drug paraphernalia, $300 fine.
Preston J. Jackson, 20, Caribou: assault (two counts), $450 fine (first), $300 fine, 30 days in jail, all but 10 days suspended, and six months’ probation (second); violating condition of release, 48 hours in jail; and OUI, $500 fine, 48 hours in jail and 150-day license suspension.
