Several albums of pictures and genealogical information were on display, one such display featured great-grandfather Rev. James Withee, who served Methodism in the Caribou area for over 30 years. He was the first generation to come to Caribou (Lyndon) in 1859. His granddaughter Grace Withee married James Beverly “Bev” Sutherland.
The family totals eight generations to live or have lived in this area. The eighth generation is Mia and Alex Thibodeau, who live with their parents, Stacy and Steve. They are privileged to have the piano in their home that was in the first Methodist Church building in the late 1800s. Mia and Alex are grandchildren of Esther (Sutherland) Page and the late Vincent Page.
The family wishes to extend sincere appreciation to Kim and Stuart Sutherland for hosting the wonderful gathering and to Betty Branscom for her countless hours of planning and research and genealogical record keeping
