OAKFIELD AND PRESQUE ISLE – Wilma Sanders, 80, of Oakfield and Presque Isle, died Sept. 12, 2014, in Bangor. She was born Dec.15, 1933, in Halloway, Mich., the daughter of Oscar and Ida (Blake) Sulkowski.
She is survived by eight children, Gail and Mike Marshall of Houlton, Lester Jr. of Presque Isle, Shirley and Donald Donahue of New Hampshire, Belinda Sanders and Larry Debay of Alpha, Ohio, Jessica and John Drew of Ashland, John Henry Sanders A3 of Presque Isle; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a soon to be born great-great-grandchild; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Lester (Popeye); two daughters, Suzanne and Deloria, five sisters, Dorothy, Betty, Ruth, Ann and Jeanette; five brothers, Sonny, Hank, Chuck, Sam and Arthur.
Friends called 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton, where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Sterling Lawrence officiating.
