Archer rings NYSE bell
David L. Archer, a 1967 graduate of Presque Isle High School now living in New York, rang the opening bell with members of his team at the New York Stock Exchange earlier this month.
It was part of the festivities leading up to the 24th annual Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival, a large free multicultural event occuring in Queens, N.Y.
Archer is the marketing director of the annual festival. He is the son of Leonard and Thel Archer. Thel still resides in Presque Isle as do his brothers, Nick and Bruce, and his sister Carla.
