     ALLEY, Rebecca (Ellis), 78, LEBANON, NH & CASTLE HILL, ME, at Enfield, NH, July 16, 2014. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014, at the Castle Hill Advent Christian Church. Arrangements are under the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.

    LEBANON, NH & CASTLE HILL, ME – Rebecca (Ellis) Alley, 78, passed away peacefully July 16, 2014, in Enfield, NH. Rebecca was born in Castle Hill, ME, May 17, 1936, the daughter of the late Alonzo and Leola (Richardson) Ellis.
    Her employment as secretary included Cardigan Mt. School, Keene Medical Products for 14 years, Meridan Congregational Church for five years and thereby retiring to enjoy her grandchildren and hobbies.
    She loved photography, playing her piano, working in her flower garden, needlework, and making quilts. She was a member of the Upper Valley Arts and Crafts Club for many years. She was also a member of the Castle Hill Advent Christian Church and VFW in Maine and the Emblem Club in NH. She also loved traveling all over the country with Mahlon Ward.
    She is survived by her partner of twenty-seven years, Mahlon Ward of Enfield, NH; her four children, Rinaldo Ellis and wife, Cathy of Bangor, ME, Darryl Carvell and wife, Sandi of Enfield, NH, Anita Moody and husband, Frank of Woodland, ME, and Maralee Sites and husband, Justin of Jacksonville, FL; her siblings, Sheldon Ellis and his wife, Kathy of Presque Isle, ME, Lucy Folts of Friendship, ME, and Ruth Kirby of Levelland, TX. She has nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. All will miss her greatly.
    In addition to her parents, Rebecca was predeceased by her first husband, Hugh Alley; and a brother, Dayton Richardson.
    A memorial service will be held 1 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 3, 2014, at the Castle Hill Advent Christian Church with Pastor Lucy Lovley officiating. Friends may call noon until time of the service at the church. Prior to the service, a luncheon will be held at 11:30 for family and close friends. Donations may be made in her memory to House of Comfort, P.O. Box 867, Presque Isle, ME 04769. Interment will be in Riverside Ext. Cemetery, Washburn.
