On July 5, Rep. Bernard Ayotte and former State Rep. Peter Edgecomb presented Albert Watt of Sinclair with a legislative sentiment in recognition for his many years of service, both as a teacher and principal, at the Limestone Community High School which was built 40 years ago. Watt was also recognized for his active participation and contributions to the Limestone community over the years, including his service as a board member of the Limestone Development Authority. The sentiment reads: “We, the members of the Senate and House of Representatives, join with family and friends in thanking Mr. Albert Watt for his dedication and service to our community.”
On July 5, Rep. Bernard Ayotte also presented former State Rep. Peter Edgecomb with a legislative sentiment in recognition of his many years of service in the field of education in Maine; the sentiment was prepared in recognition of the 40th anniversary of the Limestone High School. Edgecomb graduated the high school in 1959 and, upon retiring from education, became a four-term member of the Maine State Legislature where he served on many committees including the Agricultural and Conservation Committee and the Educational and Cultural Affairs Committee. The sentiment reads: “We, the members of the Senate and House of Representatives, join with family and friends in thanking Mr. Edgecomb for his many contributions to the people of the State of Maine.”
