HOULTON – Ercell C. Elliott, 84, died June 29, 2014, in Houlton. He was born August 22, 1929, in Houlton, the son of Elbridge and Hazel (Wiley) Elliott.
Ercell worked for the Town of Houlton for 35 years and Andy’s Foodliner for 25.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marion (Emery) Elliott of Houlton; one son, Lynwood Elliott and his wife, Linda of Grand Manan, NB Canada; two grandchildren, Kristie Kasper and Karen Corey; four great-grandchildren, Abigale Corey, Kaitlyn Kasper, Keara Corey and Alexa Kasper; a sister, Maxine Jaurequi of Indiana; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and two special sisters-in-law, Marjorie Russell and Gladys Nason. He was predeceased by his parents; two children, Ricky and Patty; two sisters, Lois McGary and Marion Lee; and a brother, Vaughn Elliott.
Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 2 at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water St., Houlton, where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Elaine Jordan officiating.
