To the editor:
I would like to say “Well Done” to the article on “Fix the Outdoor Pool Now” by Richard “Dick” Graves. Your voice is a good sound and echoes the thoughts and feelings of many I talk to in Presque Isle.
It seems like there are some in this city that enjoy taking away from our young people and kids. I have grandkids going to school (grade and high school) who say “Grampie, there is nothing in this place for me and just as soon as I get out of school, I’m moving.”
So people, let’s not put this on the back burner but let’s stand up and speak up and let our voice be heard and not settle for a bunch of double talk or behind-closed-door meetings. Again, thanks Dick for speaking up.
