    PRESQUE ISLE – Gerry Barnes, 75, passed away Thursday night, June 19, 2014, at a Houlton health care facility. He was born in Houlton on Jan. 6, 1939, son of Ellery Barnes and Isabel Adams. He served in the U.S. Army. Gerry worked as a truck driver for many years. He loved his pets.
    He is survived by a brother, Glen Barnes and his wife, Lois of New Limerick; a brother-in-law, Paul Bragan and his wife, Kathy of Houlton; several nieces and nephews; several great- nieces and nephews; close friends, Rhonda and Dave Lavoie; and a special friend, Marilyn Robinson of Halifax, NS, Canada.
    He was predeceased by his wife, Sandra (Bragan) Barnes in June 2012.
