SARASOTA, FL – Gary P. Bouchard, 68, of Sarasota, FL, formerly of Caribou, Maine, died peacefully on June 18, 2014, after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born March 28, 1946.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Kimberly; his four sisters and three brothers, Janice Shives (Ken), Diane Bedard (Bob), Betty Morin (Dale), Tina Newman (Fred), Darrell Bouchard (Roselle), Wayne Bouchard (Sandy), and Galen Bouchard (Althea). Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Lionel and Isabelle Bouchard; and his brother and two sisters, Maynard Bouchard (Luwine), Judy Cascio (Paul), and Susan Griffiths (Craig).
A Memorial Mass was held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 23, at St. Martha’s Catholic Church with a 2 p.m. committal service at The Sarasota National Cemetery. Toale Brothers Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Gary was loved by many and will be missed greatly!
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to The American Cancer Society or Tidewell Hospice, Sarasota.
