HOULTON & MASSACHUSETTS – Phyllis Nelder, 101, passed away on February 24, 2014, in the Boston, MA area where she had lived for over 30 years.
Phyllis loved teaching first graders and kindergarten students for almost 40 years in the Houlton School System. She was a lifelong member of the Houlton United Methodist Church where she was very active as a Methodist Youth Fellowship leader and Christmas Bazaar chairwoman.
Her favorite color was red. Please don your best red hat or wear something red and come welcome Aunt “Phyll” home and help send her off in style on June 14, 2014, at 1 p.m. at the Evergreen Cemetery, Houlton.
