On Saturday, at approximately 11:20 a.m. Maine State Police trooper Timmy Saucier responded to the Pond Road in Silver Ridge for a report of a two-vehicle head-on crash with injury.

A 2004 Dodge passenger car operated by Brian Fuller, 33, of Kenduskeag was traveling east on the Pond Road and lost control on the snow and slush covered roadway as he was rounding a corner.  Fuller skidded into the path of a 2011 Ford pickup being operated by Waldo Archer, 45, of Enfield.  Archer was unable to avoid Fuller and the two vehicles struck head-on.
Both Fuller and Archer sustained minor injuries in the crash. Patten Ambulance transported Archer.  Both vehicles sustained significant damage in the crash and were towed from the scene.
Saucier was assisted at the scene by Deputy Vance Palmer of the Aroostook Sheriff’s Department and Patten Ambulance.
