Officials with the Aroostook “House of Comfort” (AHOC) recently presented United Insurance with a certificate of appreciation for its generous donation during the 66th annual Presque Isle Rotary Radio-TV Auction. United Insurance donated $10,000 to the capital campaign to build a hospice home in northern Maine. Calvin Deschene, senior vice president and agency manager of United Insurance, said, “United Insurance has a long-standing tradition of supporting community needs. The hospice home will provide much needed special care for the patient, as well as support for their families.
