AUGUSTA, Maine — The Caribou Vikings scored 114.8 points Saturday to place 10th out of 12 teams in the Class B state cheerleading championships, held at the Augusta Civic Center.
Hermon won its fourth consecutive title with 148.2 points and outdistanced second-place Medomak Valley of Waldoboro, which posted 142.8. Ellsworth took third place and Leavitt of Turner took fourth. Fellow Aroostook County squad Presque Isle was seventh with 117.5 points.
