Washburn Boy Scout Pack 162 held their Pinewood Derby on Saturday, Jan. 25.
The winners were: fourth place, Aaron Skinner; third place, Parker Sawyer, second place, Ryan Blackstone; and first place, Jacob Doak.
Fan of the Year
Washburn District High School announced this year’s Washburn Fan of the Year.
The award is given to a community member who has shown support and dedication to the Washburn athletic teams.
The honor this year goes to Larry and Linda Bragg, who were recently presented with a plaque and a lot of gratitude.
Cheerleaders make news
The Washburn High School cheerleading squad placed fourth in the regional cheer competition.
