MFX announces new hires
PRESQUE ISLE — Maine Farmers Exchange has announced the addition of Dan Peers and Tyler Bradley to the seed and field departments.
Both will be working with Bob Sirois, Todd Bradley, Miff Dow and Gary DeMerchant as they become familiar with the farming families and businesses that MFX serves.
Peers is a graduate of Northern Maine Community College, having earned an associate’s degree in Business Administration, and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting at the University of Maine at Presque Isle. He worked previously in the potato industry from 2002-2009 and most recently as an insurance producer for a local insurance company. Peers enjoys spending time with his family and stays involved with the Presque Isle Youth Hockey program, where his son Charlie enjoys playing.
Having been raised on a family farm in Aroostook County, Bradley always knew he wanted to be involved in the potato industry. He worked part time at MFX and on local farms while attending UM- Presque Isle, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in both Accounting and Business Management. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends and is following the family tradition of owning and racing standard bred horses.
