    PALM COAST, FL  & MAINE – Francis “Fran” Leo Crotto, 71, passed away on January 6, 2014, at the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House. 
    As a young man, he served in the US Navy stationed on the USS Glacier in Antarctica from 61-65. He retired from IBM after working 30 years serving in many different capacities. After his retirement, he and his wife moved to Palm Coast from Marietta, GA, and spent the last 12 years vacationing during the summer in Maine.
    Francis enjoyed golfing, reading and was an avid Red Sox Fan but his greatest enjoyment was being with his beloved family. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
    Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years, Jean; sons, Jeffrey J. Crotto of St. Augustine, Jason L. Crotto of Key West, FL; siblings, Sharon and her husband, Keith Harvey, Leo E. Crotto Jr., Dana and his wife, Joan Sharp, Gloria Padham; his special aunt, Velma Allen.
    A funeral service celebrating the life of Francis was held on Friday, January 10, 2014, at 1 p.m., at Palm Coast United Methodist Church. Donations can be made in his memory to the Stuart F.
