Tyler Seeley became part of an exclusive group Saturday after he scored the 100th point of his hockey career during a 6-2 win over John Bapst at Sawyer Arena in Bangor.

Seeley hit the mark in the second period with the second of his three goals.
“I was very happy for Tyler as he has worked extremely hard to get [to the milestone],” said his coach, Carl Flynn.
Seeley, a senior center, is one of only nine players in the history of Wildcat hockey to reach the mark. The others are current PI assistant coach Darren Carlisle, Doug Carlisle, Brandon Daigle, Dylan Collins, Brennen Shaw, Isaac Lajoie, Connor Shaw and Adam Flynn.
Seeley ended up with a hat trick in the match, while Alex Michaud had two goals (“both highlight-reel caliber,” said Flynn) and three assists and Andrew Michaud a goal and a pair of assists.
Goalkeeper Jillian Flynn had another strong outing.
“She kept us in the game until we got our legs under us,” said coach Flynn.
PI also hosted Old Town-Orono on New Year’s Eve and won by the same 6-2 score.
The Wildcats put in five of their goals in the first period, with Seeley, Tyler Levesque, Ryder Soucy, Joseph Patenaude and Alex Michaud all getting into the act.

Seeley closed out the PI scoring with a second-period goal. He and Patenaude had two assists each and Michaud notched three.
Goalkeepers Flynn and Oliver Gerrish shared duties and combined for 23 saves on 25 shots.
“I thought we got into some penalty trouble that slowed our first-period momentum,” said coach Flynn. “But we got a chance to work on some new systems once we jumped into the lead and it was nice to be able to do that.”
The Wildcats and Crusaders meet again Friday at the Forum in a make-up game. The puck will drop at 4:15 p.m. PI takes to the road the following day with a game at Brewer beginning at 2 p.m.
Presque Isle now holds a 4-2-1 mark. The team is in fifth place out of nine, with the top six advancing to the playoffs.
