Stephanie is a beautiful 5-month-old spayed female cat. She has all medical procedures completed and is looking for a home. Volunteers say that Stephanie is quiet and a tiny bit shy until she knows she won’t be harmed.
Stephanie is very clean about herself and her environment and “just a real love to add to your family,” volunteers said. Those interested in adopting Stephanie may call 999-1075 to make an appointment to see her. President of the HHPR Norma Milton cautions that, unfortunately, “We are looking for some very cold weather at the middle of next week with highs remaining below zero and lows near 30 below. This is paralyzing frostbite weather for animals lacking warm shelter. Please consider helping an animal in need by bringing the pet to the shelter your community has contracted with. We have seen cats whose ears and tail drop off from the frostbite,” she added. “Death by freezing is not a fun sport and whatever kindness you give now will come back to you twofold. Please become a part of the solution by helping the most helpless of animals,” she said.
