Sterling R. Bagley

     Bagley, Sterling R., 82, PRESQUE ISLE, December 23, 2013. At the family’s request, there will be a private memorial service. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.

     PRESQUE ISLE – Sterling R. Bagley, 82, passed away on December 23, 2013. He was born in Mapleton on December 27, 1930, the son of Alden and Opal (Kenney) Bagley. 
    Sterling was married to his loving wife, Dorilla (McDougal) for 57 years. He managed his own farm for 30 of those years. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, and enjoyed watching ballgames.
    Sterling was an active member of both the American Legion and the Masons. He served his country in the Air Force for four years.
    Sterling is survived by his wife, Dorilla; his children and their spouses: Bartron and Robin Bagley of Presque Isle, Launa and Joshua Gonsioroski of Mapleton, Breen and Marria Bagley of Portage, Shaun and Tammy Bagley of Chapman, and Liane and Peter Koch of Wade; his siblings and their spouses: Winston and Marie Bagley of Mapleton, Carlene and Philip Rundstrom of Young, AZ, and Marilyn and Richard Carter of Mapleton; his grandchildren: Kristen Gray, Chad Bagley, Taylor Bagley, Britney Bagley, Kyle Gonsioroski, Sarah Enos, Meghan Bradley, Madison Bagley, Dakota Koch, Carsyn Koch, Tori Koch, Amy Hobbs and Belinda Thoreson; and eight and a half great-grandchildren.
    He was predeceased by his parents.
